About the role


As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions. You will be working on our newly released product, which is gaining strong interest from clients. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to a high-impact project, influencing its development and ensuring it continues to meet and exceed customer expectations.

 

What you’ll do

·         Design and build reliable distributed systems that handle high volumes of data with low latency

·         Work with a cross functional team of Data Scientists, Backend & Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers

·         Maintain and support business-critical systems

·         Ship code to production using CI/CD

·         Tackle the challenges that come with processing highly sensitive data

·         Build software with security in mind

·         Make your mark on ambitious projects


What you’ll bring

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

·         4+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of collaborating with others on designing, developing, testing, and shipping solutions to large scale technical problems.

·         Strong experience in Spring Boot, Java or Groovy

·         Experience developing multi-tenant applications with strong focus on security

·         Passion for being responsible for your work from the beginning to the end of a project’s life cycle

·         Excellent software engineering knowledge and ability to provide technical mentorship and direction to others

·         Data-oriented mindset: you want your work to be measured and impactful

·         Experience in leading cross-team engineering efforts


Nice to have:

·         Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes

·         Experience with AWS especially Cloud Formation, S3, SQS, EKS, DynamoDB

·         Strong communication, and organizational skills

Our interview process generally takes place remotely via teams and typically involves the following:

  • A 45-minute call where we’ll ask you about your current and previous roles and explore some technical questions with you.

  • An assignment following the first stage interview which we expect to take no longer than 2 hours of your time.

  • A final-round interview to discuss the assignment and follow up questions.

  • We may follow up with a final stage interview, to discuss any feedback before making a final decision.
